The words on screen should support the message. Therefore when writing a script or using an excerpt from elsewhere, I need to connect with the meaning of it. The text should echo my response and feelings to the text itself.

Nick the Greek
Again, I feel this is a great example of kinetic typography. The words are synchronised perfectly with the movement on screen, and the effects and text have been specifically chosen to meet the represent a certain emotion of the dialogue.

Harry Potter Warner Bros Studios
On Monday, I visited the Harry Potter Studios in Watford. Although not necessarily focused on motion graphics, it was still a great experience that I feel is appropriate. We got to see the extensive sets, props and green screens that were used to create the iconic films. After playing a game of Quidditch myself in the green screen area, I was able to see the real life model of Hogwarts where they imposed the characters and positioned them into the model in post production.

Two Page Turns
Below is a video I created with two page turns, instead of one. The tutorial I used did not include how to create new pages, so I experimented in After Effects and tried to copy the previous steps with a new page. For next time, I will make sure that the page images I use are the same size so that it fits within the book well.
