Harry Potter Warner Bros Studios

On Monday, I visited the Harry Potter Studios in Watford. Although not necessarily focused on motion graphics, it was still a great experience that I feel is appropriate. We got to see the extensive sets, props and green screens that were used to create the iconic films. After playing a game of Quidditch myself in the green screen area, I was able to see the real life model of Hogwarts where they imposed the characters and positioned them into the model in post production.

Two Page Turns

Below is a video I created with two page turns, instead of one. The tutorial I used did not include how to create new pages, so I experimented in After Effects and tried to copy the previous steps with a new page. For next time, I will make sure that the page images I use are the same size so that it fits within the book well.

Page Turn

For my final motion graphics piece, I'd like to feature a cook book that turns over the page to reveal recipes. That is why for my chosen tutorial, I am looking closely at using the CC Page Turn technique. I have looked closely at the tutorials I recently found, trying to adjust it to suit my own needs and preferences. Below is the first experiment I completed using a simple page turn effect. I want to try to include a few more pages, which the tutorials I looked at didn't include.
